Call now to schedule a consultation at our studio. We will be glad to discuss in detail your vision for a wonderful portrait. Bring your child with you so that (s)he can become comfortable with the studio atmosphere. We will plan the setting, choose costumes, if needed, and have suggestions for dress, hair style, and props. At your consultaion we will schedule a time for the portrait session.The studio fee will be due at this time.

Have children arrive for this session in good spirits ...well fed, clean and shiny, and wide awake. Please allow about 1 1/2 hours for this studio time. We will dress the child for our fairy portraits during this time. For classic portraits you may choose to arrive dressed or change in our studio to avoid wrinkles. We ask that only one adult accompany a child in the studio for her session. Charlene and Jon will be orchestrating a variety of poses and we need to have the child's undivided attention. Sometimes more adults in the room can be confusing to the child. At the end of the portrait session we will schedule a date for the viewing session.

Your proofs will be presented to you in a slide show set to music. Please allow 1 1/2 hours for your presentation and selection. After the initial slide show we will review your favorite portraits and discuss each one in detail. We will offer suggestions regarding cropping, enhancement, finishes and special touches. Attention to expression, composition, and coloring will be presented. Any family member who will participate in ordering prints will need to be present during the viewing in order to make a selection since our studio does not give out paper proofs. This will not be a good time for children in the studio since we will need to concentrate on the details of each portrait and possiblities for prints.

A 50% deposit towards your completed order will be due at this time. We accept personal checks, cash, Visa, Master Card and American Express. Your order will take about 3-6 weeks to complete depending on the complexity.

When the order is complete we will call you to meet at the studio to pick up your portraits and to discuss the framing possibilities. We offer a selection of frames, hand-made art paper mats, and display easels that compliment our work.
